Summary: The Doctor disapproves Donna's choice of nail varnish... not that he would admit it!
“Come on Spaceman! It's only a bit of nail varnish...”
The Doctor grimaced, stepping around the TARDIS console, trying to stay away from the offending bottle of... stuff. Donna grinned, following him around closely, tending to her own nails.
“Stay away from me with that stuff...”
“Seriously... this blue colour will really suit you.”
“Do we really need to talk about this? It's-It's just ridiculous.”
“How is it ridiculous?”
The Doctor glared, trying very hard to keep his hands away from his companion.
“Because it is. I'm a Time-Lord... I am a male... male's don't ware nail varnish.”
Donna smirked,
“Well you haven't met some of my friends then. Jerry loves nail varnish... says it turns his boyfriend on.”
The Doctor stared at her with wide eyes.
“I am not gay...”
Donna laughed.
“Of course you aren't... Jack told me about your many flings-”
“Donna stop it.”
“Oh come on seriously what's wrong with this colour? It's midnight blue!”
“The colour's too dark. It'll just drown-” he cut himself off abruptly with a glare. Donna smirked, leaning against the console, painting her thumb nail carefully.
“What were you saying then? The colour will drown out what?”
“Sod off...”
