“But you can't...”
“Rose... if things don't end, how can new things start? I'll still be me, just with a new face.”
“But it won't be 'you' Doctor. Just because you have a new face... you'll have new everything. I don't want you to go.”
“I'm sorry Rose.” he said, watching his hands begin to glow golden, wisps wrapping around his skin, that familiar burn beginning to happen. It was starting. Soon he wouldn't be him any more. He would have to change and let the new man he was to become saunter away and live one again. His head tipped back, as all of the golden energy burned through him, repairing and changing all of his cells, stretching the bones and changing his entire look.
He would not be him when he was done.
He would be a new man once more. New face, new hair, new look everything completely new.
He'd be the new Doctor. One that Rose would have to come to trust.
